The Great Scoobynet BMW Experiment!
There's always plenty of pee-pee taking about BMW driver being w@nkers on this forum, in fact I'm guilty of this myself (thats taking the mick out of BMW drivers not wanking, although...)
So let's clear this up once and for all. For 1 week, as many people as possible should keep a note of cars that annoy you by either cutting you up, tailgating you, pulling out on you or sitting in the middle lane for no reason!
Let's see who the w@nkers really are!
Can anyone be arsed?

You are quite welcome to join the experiment. I'd be interested to see who annoys BMW drivers

In aid of research
Todays experiment consisted of a drive along the M53 towards Ellesmere Port.
Outward journey,:-
First candidate:- I overtook a Toyota Avensis (new shape reps car), he then tailgated me until I found a private stetch of the M53 (no racing on public highways) I lowered the lead onto my right foot and watched his car shrink in my rear view mirror.
In aid of research I let my wife drive on the return journey to see if it could happen to her. Not long before it did.
Second candidate :- a VW Polo with big exhaust trim and wheels that made it look like a Tonka toy. After he was overtaken he tailgated us. We were sticking to the speed limit and overtaking a steady stream of cars in the left lanes, after the cars were overtaken we moved to the left but he still tailgated us. another VW w*nker. Maybe he was getting a tow in our slipstream and could not get out of it. He is now qualified to drive a Passat/Bora.
In conclusion:-
Dick heads were...
Toyota Avensis
VW Polo
Sensible drivers (those who were overtaken and did not retaliate)...
Porsche Boxster.
BMW 330d
Renault Clio 2 litre thingy
A minibus full of kids that gave us the thumbs up.
Loads of boring boxes on wheels.
We also passed a couple of vehicles that had gone off the motorway, Fire, Police , Ambulance all in attendance. I hope no one was seriously hurt.

Yep. BMW drivers are definitely the worst. They always cut me up, feel the need to race, start flashing their lights on the motorway just to get ahead of me. They are stuck up ***** who think that BMW's are the best and fastest car's around. So to all you Bmer drivers............................

Guys - you have got us all wrong - the reason that we drive like we own the road is cos we do..... what is the reason all you scooby drivers drive like you think it is a special stage? lets face it, if you were any good at driving you would be driving on a special stage, but as you are not, you feel the need to mope about crying cos you don't own the road and you don't like the people who do
btw - bikes are better than scoobies even on wet twisties with gravel and cowsh1te thrown in

Don't you know that DBM Wagons are better than all BMW cars ?
Got to go now, my co-driver is calling me. I have to be on the special stage to my local Asda in 2 minutes.

S Squares,
Maybe if you had shut the door properly then you would not have had a fright. Easy to do when you are several sheets to the wind though.
Someone said that bad drivers are not necessarily recognisable by the cars they drive. I certainly agree with that, I certainly have not not had any more trouble with BMW drivers than any others. Looks like its one o0f those no-brain traditions to criticise them or any other particular car you can think of and maybe would even like to own yourself!
Saying that, I did have one beemer try to overtake me last weekend just after a roundabout in his 330 where there was just no room for him to pass. He was jumping up and down waving his arms etc in a real road rage for a mile after that, he nearly clouted a keep left sign doing it! Waste of time really, you just can't overtake in Weybridge High Street, especially on a holiday.
I think the fact that I was driving an M3 Evo had something to do with it though

I can't talk I was looking for an M3 when I discoved scoobys.
Anything small like a corsa. Bl**dy evil little things, I hate them. Overtake them and then come into a 30mph area and they are still doing 60 to catch you up so they can sit on your backend.

MPVs get my vote. The drivers are either reps who don't give a rats ar$e about their cars or parents who don't seem to have a clue about where they are going and pay less attention to the road than they do to their kids in the back.
