Origin B2 is better imo,the add on Radar/laser is simply uneccessary imo.

I have heard of a few people having problems with the SR6's.

IMO the laser/radar bit is the most important. Its not that hard to spot bright yellow fixed cameras (GPS will warn of these), its the hidden revenue vans which are the real problem, and these use radar I think.

Ive had 2 sr6 neo and both were faulty, wouldnt pick up enough satalites to work correctly and kept giving false alarms.I sent it back to snooper who then sent me the s4 and i have had no problems at all with this one.No false alarms and picks up only what it should do.Snooper were really good and even sent me a 60quid phone line connector to do the downloads to say sorry!

can you not store, camera positions on the S6r then ?? eg like the road angel 2 u can store unfixed camera vans

as van/camera locations are more important than fixed camera's as u have time with fixed and there bright yellow

Yes you can store location in the S6R. Its the bottom right hand button.

The B2 and RA2 got the best reviews from Speed Traps site. S6R, as many have said, seems to miss too much for comfort!

Would like to buy a B2, but Origin Tech. (Manufacturers) wont hurry up and release the "Optional" Radar head. Emailed them in August. "Oh next month sir" Still not listed on their site

Suppose I could just make do with GPS and Laser. Then if I wanted to I could do another £200 for a separate Snooper XYZ Radar attachment. But then its getting quite expensive!

Oh, and to the owners of B2 can it recognise signals from behind the car? I mean if you were being followed by an Un-marked car?

Cheers!

The laser bit which fixes on the windscreen seems to have sensors both front and back.

Chris.

Thanks. I presume that if you have rear tints. Or 3 rear passengers that you'll get no signal? Maybe you could buy 2 heads. 1 for the front, 1 for the rear.

Anyway. What would you say about your B2. Good, Bad, Indifferent?

Cheers

Not too sure on whether the sensor could be blocked. Might be worth contacting Origin and asking them.

I've not had any problems with my B2, it seems to have picked everything up and hasn't given me any false alarms yet.

I've got a S6R and whilst the instructions say that with the unit should display RD when the radar/laser unit is connected, mine doesn't. Saying that my unit, must be working as it its picked up K band last night and just the gps unit by itself wouldn't do that. But because of the built in modem it does make it a big unit. Once I have built a pod for it, I'll post pics.

Storing is great until you go down a road you have never been before

Simon, mine DOES display RD when the unit is connected. But you have to obviously change the settings to be use the unit, otherwise it defaults to sats only

Yup they are, 1 word of warning, cold start up can take a while, other than that, no problems to report so far. Going on a 270 mile drive later so will give it a good road test!!

Well after 270 miles, I didn't have any problems with it. Although 1 recomendation is let it find all the satalites before you move off anywhere or it can take 10 mins or so to fully boot up
