Working merrily away. Blew up 2 pooters already, IT helpdesk going mental at me..**** 'em they should build 'em right in the first place. It's no fun moving from desk to desk like a pikey now is it?

talking of scrooge.
parked up in my local village yesterday, in a designated bay, bought a ticket, of i trotted, came back 10 mins later to go home theres a bloke doing a ticket, he had just put the first digit of my plate in, and i was like what you doing? he pointed out to me that my rear wheel was about an inch over the white line that devides bays.
on the ticket it says : failure to park within a designated bay.
I accepted the ticket after I gave him my thoughts, wished a happy christmas (or rather lack of it) pointed out to him his simililarity to a womans private parts and called him scrooge.

Was supposed to finish yesterday but I've purchased something from the states and its supposed to be coming to my work address. It was sent last Friday and USPS qoute 3 to 5 days. I haven't got a tracking number (which is of slight concern) so have got to wait in until I think no more delivery vans are going to turn up.
Wouldn't be so bad but it may get clobbered by customs so I've got to be around to pay any duty oweing on it.
Mind you my office seems to be one giant creche for the nipper so she's happy.

Working from home due to reduced train service, should be done by 1 though. I'm on call all over Christmas and New Year as well, but I'm confident my systems won't alert

Paypal but still not exactly 100%. Not got much reason to doubt the guy but of course you never know. Contact is hard due to time delay etc. The lack of tracking number is worrying but I believe he has sent it. Time will tell I guess.
My main problem is I don't know if it will be delivered today as it christmas eve. I've got to hang about till about 3pm just in case in turns up. If not I'll have to come in next week until it turns up.
