At last the urban terrorist that is the London cyclist gets their comeuppance
While out for a walk at lunch time I saw the best thing I have seen the police do in ages, two policemen on mountain bikes nicking cyclists for riding like w4nkers Looked like fines being handed out - good on em, time the London cyclists got put in their place and stopped for riding through red lights, cutting up vehicles and riding through pedestrian crossings while there are people crossing - I ******* hate the London cyclist

About 2 years ago, a guy I worked with stormed into our City office outraged that he had been given a £20 ticket for riding the wrong way up a one-way. He got even more annoyed that he recieved a less than sympathic reaction from his co-workers (read hours of **** taking and "serves you right" comments)

I hope the initiative goes nationwide I would estimate that over 3/4 of all bikes I see on the road are either illegal (due to inadequate lighting, bald tyres etc) or behave illegally. About time they were given a share of the medicine. Now, when they gonna make them sit a test, get insurance, pay for the privelege, carry licenses and acrue endorsements About time helmets were made compulsory too

Its the attitude that traffic laws dont apply to them that p1sses me off, thy get upset when you blow your horn at them for igonring red signals, I ride a bike and I dont do that so why should they get away with it, they do indeed think they are some kind of urban cowboy/terrorist.
I can see how they get like that, girl in an Ibiza the other day decided to cut out of a junction when she saw me coming because she couldnt be arsed to wait, she hadnt anticipated 16 stone at 25/30 mph (Road bike) very well, I anchored up and still at quite a speed got a well timed foot to her rear quarter, she thought I had come off but pished off at high speed anyway, must have made a right bang, even over Missy Elliot or some such **** she was blasting out, the ignorant cow deserved it, she looked me in the eye and pulled out anyway, knowing full well that I would either have to brake hard and stop or plough into the hedgerow, she didnt think of the third option.

You are just jealous that they use their initiative to treat a red light as a junction - no big deal. Ohh and if they get it wrong they will need to pay for a hole in the ground to be dug for them
I love them - each one I see means one less small engined car in front of me!!!
