On the scrounge for skiing stuff
My company's Christmas party is 3 days in Cervinia (nice eh?) but I don't have any skiing stuff.
Has anyone got some they can lend me, I'm in the Slough area, 6' tall and a 15st fat ba$tard and I need the padded dungaree things, a decent jacket, goggles, gloves.
Many Thanks
Gary

The trouser things are called sallopetes, iirc.
Sports soccer in Slough do them round this time of year, but you got to dodge the chavs when your in there.
Sport Crest in the Observatory do some Ski stuff.
Hope that helps.

Tchibo (I think that's how its spelt) do very cheap ski gear (there is one in Richmond, not far from you)
e.g. Gloves for less than £10, trousers £30 etc etc.
The quality is actually pretty good, probably not the same as the brand names but good enough for 3 days!
Also Trespass @ Milton Keynes Snowdome (Xscape) is pretty cheap and good quality ~ Jackets £50 - £100. But a bit of a trek unless your passing.
