Default Rear projection TV

Hi,
We have a Samsung (not sure on the model) rear projection Tv and my dad believes it is damaging to use a computure console (gamecube) on it. It mentions something in the instructions, but is this just a precautionary word of warning. Is this true, as if it is my winter break from uni is destroyed as i have just bought mario kart! lol..students
Thanks kamy

I think you have problems if you leave it paused on one screenshot too long. You can burn an image in a similar way that you can on a CRT television/monitor.

I think that's what I've heard anyway.

Perhaps he's looking forward to the Great Escape and doesn't want to watch pixellated go-karts whining round a track lobbing mushrooms at each other?
