Neighbours Car blown up in Sankey, Warrington!
Just watching Duck Soup (Marx Bro) on tele when we heard an almightly bang! First thought was that the generator which was being used by some Workmen outside had gone big style.
Went outside and saw a group around a house 4 doors down, went down to find that their Honda Civic had had it's door blown off, flew throught the hedge onto the otherside of the road
If anyone had been walking past... .
The owner's were in total shock, obvioulsy, whilst taking to him, I noticed that the rear window of their other car (astra) had been smashed also! He went over to have a look, I said best not as their maybe another (probably firework) in there which hadn't gone off!
Got back in and the kids wanted to have a look when the fire-engine turned up. Walked back down, on the other side of the road and one of the firemen confirmed there WAS another one in the Astra!!
Unbelievable, to do this any time is beneath contempt but coming upto Christmas.... Hope they could get some prints off the firework, for what good it would be.
Immediately went round the back and put the bus (Trajet, the wife's) and the scoob away under lock and key.
Really feel for them, just hope it was an isolated case, and they get the b*st*rds responsible.
