I think its a quality film for some reason, more to do with sentimental reasons than artistic integrity though!

Its up there with weird science and the goonies!

Love the film and the soundtrack, but maybe that's because I'm long in the tooth

The Lost Boys theme is cool, and the classic song "I Believe" by Tim Capello who was apparently the actual guy on stage in the film with the appauling mullet, a saxophone and half drenched in baby oil. You gotta love the 80's!

He was Tina Turner's saxophone player apparently; until I watched disc 2 Id assumed he was miming and hired for his mullet.....

Superb film. A little tongue-in-cheek, but hell, who cares?

If you want a darker, less "brat-pack" Vampire movie, try Near Dark.

Ah Mr Bewler - excellent - seem to remember his girflriend was a bit of a babe also - but I did see it again a few years ago and thought she looked a bit 80's - must be getting old

It's not too bad. There are more expensive areas. There are cheaper ones too. The big University of California campus in town probably keeps costs down. That and the vampires.
