Got one for Christmas. Love it. Have loaded up s/w to pc so can track my travels / speeds. It takes a little while to get used to the menu system but once you have got the hang of the basics you'll be off out driving to all your local points of interest and setting markers.
Accuracy is outstanding, It shows me reversing off the drive and hanging a left (All of 20 feet)
If you didn't get one - GET ONE.

On potential drawback is that I want to have streetmap detail for Orlando FL but it appears that Garmin only sell a North America pack for approx $130.
The unit can upload numerous formats. Anyone got recommendations for where I could get cheaper options for mapping Orlando ?

$130 is a bit of a bargain.
If you're only going to Orlando for a holiday, I suggest buying a map. If you get really lost the unit will at least point you home.

Cheers - That's a great site with a lot of helpful tips. I'm gonna splash out for the US maps as I love the ability to search out Restaurants / Areas of interest etc in your vicinity.
