Default GPRS connection with T-mobile phone

OK - you lot have helped before - fingers crossed you can help now.
Just got Nokia 6610i (on T-mobile) - now unlocked with an Orange SIM (PAYG).

Want to access GPRS and MMS - but it just saves it to the inbox and states GPRS not available...?
Is it the SIM that is too old/not up-to-date or have I got to change something in the settings ?

Thanks in advance...

You need to get Orange to enable the GPRS on your account. Phone them, and they'll sort it.

High data rate costs apply, probably more so on PAYG (if GPRS is allowed on PAYG?).

I think the phone will still be configured for T mobile access. You will need to find the settings for Orange for GPRS & MMS then enter them manually into the phone. You should be able the get the settings from the web somewhere.
