I may be mistaken but: 'VESA' is a standards committee; so if its a VESA standard mount, then theyre all the same size.... Thats certainly true of LCD displays. The cheapest place for a VESA mount btw, is Maplin Electronics! (£30).

Anyone remember VESA graphics in your PC? Sorry, I digress.

IIRC, VESA TFT mounts are either 75mm or 100mm square.

HTH,

Chris.

I still have a brand new DX4/100 with VESA local bus video adapter and IDE controller! A VESA standard TFT mount is 75mm centre to centre if that helps.

Dave; look on the back and youll see that the base is connected to the display in the centre of the rear. It will be secured using 4 screws; a standard VESA mount has 75mm centres.

I thought it was probably that, but didn't want to assume

Well, the screw centres are at 67mm horizontally, 25mm vertically or 72mm diagonally. The mounting bracket itself measures 80x37mm.

Hope this helps, but doesn't appear to be the dimensions it should be

Dimensions on mine are 100mm vertical nd 135mm horizontal. No LCD bracket I can find will fit this hole arrangement.

Let's just expand on that......on my LG the base is not connected to the screen in the centre of the back of the screen, but right at the base, and those are the dimensions I gave - where the base bracket screws on to the display.

However, there ARE four unused threaded bushes behind rubber plugs in the centre of the back if the display, and they are 130mm horizontal and 100mm vertical centres

Hope this helps, or at least clarifies.......!

ChrisB mentioned a second std size of 100mm; perhpas its this? I cant help as Ive only ever come across the 75mm centr size. If you search Google for "VESA mount" it should present some options; my LG has a 75mm centred VESA mount on the back btw.
