morrisons pasta salad
Hello
Salad bars tend to contain a disturbing amount of the ingredients mentioned above along with such delights as traces of human feaces and e-coli. People - you just can't trust them to wash properly.

I'd stick to a hot pie if I was you.
At least that way the pubes, phlegm etc will have been sterilised

Do you trust a resturant to prepare your food properly?

It's not so much the preperation as that people help themselves at a salad bar. And having worked in a restaurant, the answer to your question is no.

Years ago I worked in 100's of food businesses and probably a few 1000 private houses. I can assure you that most private houses are a damn sight dirtier than 90% of public food outlets.

Used to work for a company that manufactures Pneumatic-conveying systems along with batching and weighing facilities.
Saw many of the uk's major food manufactures plants including chocolate, ice cream, biscuits, fish fingers,Pie’s (that one was very interesting
even through to soap powder, sugar (you would not believe what is mixed into certain European sugars – mainly used in food ingredients).
Cleanest food manufacturer I saw was a certain dog meat plant near Norwich !! Absolutely spotless

A while ago I was sdoing the weekly shopping and saw something at the salad bar that put me off it for life (It didnt appeal to me much in the first place so it was no big loss!)
It was one of those counters with tubs of pasta salads, coleslaw etc and you help yourself using the ladles provided into wee polystyrene tubs.
Some wee kid, maybe 6 years ol had climbed up onto the counter and was scooping big handfulls of the stuff into his mouth. The ones he didnt like, he was spitting back into the pots.
No-one did anything to stop him either. i dont know if his parents were nearby or not.
