Property wizzers advice needed
Right, own a 2 bed flat in Brighton/Hove
Just had a little boy (7 weeks now )
The spare room I have converted to a nursery, yellow walls stuff like that with a "sunshine safari" border (mammas and pappas gear).
Good idea for sale or bad idea.
It's not that we are looking to sell up just yet but I am thinking of the future and the fact that a 2 bed flat ain't gonna last for life. And more little Roo's.
Cheers

Neutral colours do help places sell but it depends on the whole flat really. Get a local agent out to value it and ask the valuer what he thinks when he comes round. They won't mind, the market's pretty quiet on the run up to Christmas so you'll be giving them something to do!
At the end of the day it would only take a few hours to change the colour when you go to sell in the future. You've got to live in it between now and then!

If you're planning on staying there for a while yet then keep it as it is. When you decide to sell then redecorate. Its not worth doing it now when in 18 months time your little darling decides to add to the decor with his crayons!
Is the room big enough for a double bed? If so then when its on the market try to declutter as much as poss and create a layout to show that a double bed can obviously fit in.
