Default Painting a Die-Cast Model Car

Hi All

I've got a model Triumph Dolomite 1850 in cream which I need to convert to a Triumph 1500 in slate grey

I think I've got the engine swap covered but what sort of paint do I use to paint it? Airfix acrylic type stuff? Or some sort of spray?

Any idea what font size is 1:43 of a number plate, and which standard windows font is closest to the standard?

Cheers,

Ben

If you can get it apart and stripped down I'd spray paint it and you should be able to get the correct colour too

I've done a 1:18 Escort Cossie, turned it Imperial Blue I just used grey primer form Halfords and a genuine ford colour and lacquer. Just dust it on though else you lose the detail
