I always loved the irony of the protest being organised by farmers and lorry drivers...
1) Farmers get untaxed diesel for their farm equipment.
2) Lorries cost the country more than they raise in revenue (on average they raise £24k, but cost £26k per year each in damage to roads, crashes etc).
Far play? I'm all for it - less subsidies for them and more for me.
As for a drop in duty - fat chance.

As planned by Hailer Martin Palmer the Fuel Protest in Cardiff went ahead as planed, Martin Palmer has branded the protest as a "Huge Success" with over 240 lorries from all over Wales attending, the support from the people of Cardiff was tremendous, a huge thank you to all that attended.
Whats a "Hailer"?!
