Youth's Clio off the road again, this time, cooling fan has stopped working. Took it off, tried it, it's obviously US, so rang Robnault for a new one.
If I buy JUST the motor (no fan, bracket etc) it will be...............wait for it........................£123 +VAT
Ridiculous
Off to get it rewound etc for about a tenth of that!

go to a scrappy mate, a mate of mine had £125 quote for a fan for his saxo vts, picked one up in perfect condition from a scrappy for £20.
You shouldn't have to much trouble finding one cos of how common clio's are.

Renault dealer wanted £75 when one of the bulbs went in the projector beam headlights on MrsREV's Clio. 10 minutes research on the net and I had a pair of Philips Vision Plus bulbs with UV filter to protect the lenses and a free set of sidelight bulbs for £18 delivered. Renault = Rip-off, IMHO
