Illuminated building seen from the M1 - what is it?
Went up to Sheffield on Friday night and whilst stop / starting on the M1 there was a very impressive looking building lit up to our right (so roughly east).
We were between Tibshelf Services and Woodall Services - the building was maybe a mile or two away from the motorway across the valley. Probably more the Woodall end of the section. It was lit up with white floodlights with a big frontage visible from the motorway.
Any suggestions to what it was?
Chris.

Bolsover Castle
Set high above the MI 6 miles east of Chesterfield, Bolsover Castle catches the eye, especially when floodlit at night.

I think I noticed it last time we were driving down the M1, I remember seeing a large floodlit building possibly about a mile away across a valley and up a hill somewhere in that area
I meant to look it up after but forgot so thanks for reminding me
