Lightbulb "Angry Britain".

Quite apt following my previous thread that got turned into a "Britain is an angry country" type thing.

http://www.sky.com/skycom/tvguide/0,...010416,00.html

Hopefully this show will open the eyes of some that simply don't see my point.

Tonight, Sky One at 10pm.

Will show "jolly little England" for exactly what it is.

Should be a laugh watching joe average getting all angry over nothing. PMSL.

I look forward to it - no doubt it will be a perfectly objective in depth study of the primary stress builders in modern day British culture and in no way poorly researched selective sensationalist television for the soap opera generation

This sort of tosh makes me so angry

tiggers.

You have to filter out the rubbish, media type crap and see the facts behind the hype.

A bit like reading the Sun.

There will also be 2 types of people that watch.

Type 1. People that find it "entertaining".

Type 2 (me). People that find it interesting.

Tiggers' point about "soap opera generation", I agree with. It backs up my entire argument - everyone enjoys bitching/back stabbing and gossiping. The Big Brother type culture these days.

Senior,

Trouble is a lot of people seem incapable of doing that these days more's the pity. Not sure about the Sun though - think all you'd be left with after the filtering is blank paper

Cheers,

tiggers.

Sadly I don't get Sky, however, is there not a time and place for a good rage though? It can be a useful tool when unleashed in the right circumstances, and I'm not talking about moaning, I'm talking about a full on, no hold barred hissy fit! Pick the victim carefully and you will get good results!

The show, by it's own definition will be watched by the masses. A certain sense of irony it seems......

The Sun, well Page 3 is ok, sport section is good to but the rest of the paper is abit ****e eh. lol.

I think it's pointing out the angry attitude in situations where one shouldn't need to be angry.

There are a few episodes exploring various situations. I hope it's good as I find this very interesting indeed.

Some people need a TV show to realise, I already see it so it will be just like watching normal day to day life on TV.

Are you saying I'm blunt Redkop?? Never!!!
