Got a recorded call on my mobile saying im going to win a zillion pounds etc and to ring an 09050 number.

Presume these are £50 per minute?

I think this is the most any 09 number can cost.

Ah, good spot. Might ring it from work then

There are some numbers that do cost £000 as you can ring them to pay for things. Just assumed this was one of them.

Still, £1.50 per min is a lot

Hi mate,

Highest call cost in the UK on a per minute basis is £1.50. You can get higher but needs special permission. If you're receiving unsolicited messages asking you to call a premium rate number get in touch with www.icstis.org.uk - by law they should also include the charge to tthe caller but it's obviously a scam
