There were a few good ones in the eighties as well, but yeah the seventies were the heyday of the Christmas record.

I think that X factor should be held earlier in the year Lisa.
He`ll be forgotten in 6 months. The true xmas classics ie Slade etc have stood the test of time unlike the drivel that surrounds us every Yuletide.
Bring back the classic Christmas songs imo. Mind you, have any been written lately?
