DVD RECORDERS
Not really in to all this techno stuff. So excuse the weird questions.
Just seen that Sony do a DVD recorder, @ about £350 want to keep with a Sony product as it will match in.
It apparently is able to read and write all formats.
Has anyone got one and what do they think ?
If it makes any differece im having sky plus fitted on monday and would like the idea of saving all the best bits on to disc.

I have the multi-region GX7. It's ok, but i honestly don't think the quality of recording is as good as my Sony video, but then i don't think digital is as good as analogue on any medium. The other minor drawback is that it takes lwhat seems like an age to turn on - it's not "instant" like a video. That said, it's very easy to use and playback of pre-recorded dvds is superb.
