When I was a kid growing up in the late 70's and early 80's, whenever a bomb went off in the middle east, it was always Yasser Arafat who claimed responsibility. The Palestine Liberation Organisation was one of the worst terrorist groups going.
Now he is an old man, people seem to have forgotten the misery and suffering he caused.

Yes lets remember both sides....

People of the same generation as Sharon were responsible for the murder of many British citizens when they wanted us to leave Israel. (Members of the anti-British Sterng Gang, Yitzhak Shamir another Prime Mininster of Israel was a member). One of their most despicable acts was hanging British children with piano wire - so he is FAR from being an angel and the same goes for many in his goverment.

Sharon himself was responsible for a number of massacres as commanding officer of an army unit know as 'Unit 101'

The two best know atrocities committed by them under his command were

may he rest in peace if he has died, i heard it on the news, i never ever respected him much coz all the power was for him and his guys, his wife enjoyed life in paris while palestinians suffered, but i did respect him a little if it wasnt of him , no one would have known what the israeli butchers are doing in palestine. that way it was cool
