Default anyone playing the futures on the election result?

Just wondering....

Dow about 10055 (and plummeting) as we speak....tempted to go long after the market shuts tonight with a 400pt stop (just in case!). Seems whatever the result, quite likely to see a bounce (aside from a prolonged "draw").

Still short on crude too, but tightning the stop on that one as might see a bounce on that too..........

I'd agree, once a result is called we're looking at a gain, bad news if it starts getting into re-counts though...

Took a 6m fx option position a couple of weeks back - going long out of the money euro calls / dollar puts. Reckon dubya will win and reckon their currency will collapse to below the 1.30 level maybe reaching 1.40 in a few months with a healthy hike in vols to go with it. If I'm wrong I lose a couple of grand.
