I love power cuts, the more the merrier for me 
I'm in the NW and not had a cut, yours is probably at your local substation.
Should be nice and busy at work tommorrow if there's been a few outages tonight, :

If it's anything like my old stamping ground, it'll be kids. I seem to recall that we were near one of the local switching stations, and if you messed around with that, apart from turning into a burnt crisp, you could knock out a nice part of the surrounding area.
Of course, it could be some bonehead roadworking pleb cutting through a cable.
