Cool Chiropractors - Wonderful People!

After a suspect knee operation I have endured 18 months of pain whereby if I squat down I then get intense pain right down my leg for 4-5 days duration.

After a lot of physiotherapy after the op which did not really solve anything and trips to various knee specialists I finally had an MRI scan which revealed nothing untoward. Still had the pain though and was despairing that nothing would sort it out.

Then someone suggested I go and see a chiropractor. So I found the nearest one to me and booked an appointment. Now I must admit to being very sceptical but off I went and on seeing me the chiropractor said that he was amazed I was walking at all as I had a leg one inch longer than the other, my pelvis and hips were twisted and not the slightest bit level and my back was all over the place. Anyway he proceeded to pull me straight and sent me on my way to return in a week. I returned and more straightening takes place and today I did all the movements that would have caused havoc and amazingly - no pain at all!

After the last year and half it feels wonderful to be able to do such simple movements and this result after just two 40 minute sessions!

So, if you have pain and the doctor can't help then go and see one - won't cost much and may well sort you out!

Glad to hear you are sorted.

After 15 years sitting **** poorley in front of a computer, I now see one at least 4 times a year. They are very good at what they do. Never forget the first time the "cracking and popping" as they released the air (or fluid) build up between the discs in my spine. **** me up!

And the other one, two hands round your face, gently twisting side to side then suddenly a quick snap and more air released! Thought she was going to kill me with that one!

£25 for ten minutes work not a bad income!

Each to their own and i'm glad you got sorted

One nearly paralysed me or even could've killed me, had i not visited an Osteopath at the time i did.

It was obvious (to the Osteopath anyway) that any manipulation to my neck could've resulted in severing my spinal chord. The Osteopath, when he first examined me, phoned for an ambulance to come and take me to Hospital. I then spent three weeks in traction

The "Chiropractor" had very kindly, at each visit, been forcing degenerated disc into my spinal chord which, finally contributed to loss of sensation to part of my left hand.

The strange thing was that the "Chiropractor" was *meant* to be one of the best in Britain and charged the princely sum of £45.00 (and that was over 10 years ago)

Osteopath for me every time i'm afraid, after reading quite a few articles on Chiropractors and their "mistakes" i wonder why i ever took advice to go.

................. but hey, you got sorted, thats the main thing
