Resident Evil : Apocalypse
Ive just been to the cinema again!!!!
My brother wanted to go and this was the only half decent thing i hadnt seen and its actually quite good!
Alice is sent to find an Umbrella Corps daughter before the zombies get to her after a virus outbreak.
The zombies are spot on and its pretty much just a shoot em up with Milla Jovovich (mmmmmm ) kicking some serious butt!!! Quite a few funny scenes with in jokes too but i think it would have being much better if they had made it cheesier and not tried to take it too seriously!!! As for the computer scenes , why do they bother. The software is obviously made up, but if you forget about that its really enjoyable!

I downloaded it last week and thought it was pretty good - nearly as good as the first (which I only saw on sky the week before). Dont know why it god such a slating as good storyline (even if borrowed from video games).
Mill Jovovich looks mmmmm in the 1st.
Pity Paul W.S Andersons recent offering AVP wasnt as good
Simon.

Was a class game. Had RE Zero on the Cube but wasnt the same flow to it so never completed it.

A lot of people have been saying that this film is "Brainless" -and using that as justification for slating it- in the press, but they're missing the point entirely. It's a Zombie flick, you're supposed to check your brain in at the door and just enjoy a visceral thrill. You judge these kind of films on the intensity of the action and the thrills and scares etc.... if you expect it to be a forum for cutting edge cinematography or scripting then you're going to be dissapointed.
The fact is that this film delivers on the action, thrills and gore whereas the first one simply didn't. Grab a bag of popcorn, give your brain the afternoon off and enjoy!!
Best.....er, I mean. BRAINS, BRAINS!!! :-)
