Help, I've got orange spots all over my............
..............windscreen, you mucky lot.:
They are hard, and don't clean off with wipers/spray, but are doing the wipers in.
I don't park the car under any trees, or even near to any, so what on earth is doing this?
The only way of removing said spots seems to be fingernail...........tedious in the extreme, but there's always more the next day

Might be a rare windsceen bacteria - resilient to scoosher water and wipers I suggest try licking them off.

A windowcleaner's blade or a backed razorblade is what you want.. Don't carve your window-rubbers, though.
