OK guys, question for you all.

Some guys from work, all non car fans took a client to the full on Jonathan Palmer autosport day earlier this week. All came back raving about how great it was. So my queation to you is: -

Is the day worth the £693 price tag, or can you get an equal or there or there abouts day for less with soemone else.

You views are greatly appreciated.

Cheers

The cars are fantastic, all but a couple of events are timed, and you are encouraged to drive as fast as you dare!!

One of the best days I have had this year!

Not sure I would spend £700 of my own money on it though.

Great day out, if someone else is paying. Would not spend 700 notes on it myself.

For that kinda money drive to the 'ring and hire a fast car....

I am a guest of IBM tomorrow on the JP Race day been looking forward to it for ages early start though as driving up from Surrey. Shame I am working till 10pm tonight as well.

Wont get to do the 4x4 off road part due to the "business" part of the days fun and the Caterhams are looking to go as well but might swing a go... you never know.

Thumbs up

Yup I attended this yesterdy with Rob and it was fantastic, they positively make you drive up to and beyond the very ragged edge of you and the cars capabilities.

It was quite amusing when one instructor walked up to me when he spotted I had a Subaru jacket on and he cracked a joke along the lines of how popular scooby drivers were at Bedford

All the instructors shout at you is MORE POWER MORE POWER and you can't help but spin out occasionally. The Clio cup's were amazing as you get them so sideways but keep your foot to the floor and it eventually pulls you straight but it takes some commitment.

My day was made up when I won a fastest lap trophy in the JP1

It's an expensive day out (unless you were on a corporate day like us) but worth it.
