Default Orlando??

I am off to Florida again next year, just wondered if anyone wanted to help me out and to a really good deal.

At the moment I have been quoted £4,500 for 2 adults 5 kids and 1 infant.

Price included, flights, car hire 8 seater and 5 bed villa with own pool.

i paid £1800 for 4* 2 weeks, 2 of us. we just flew with Virgin. Im sure booking things direct would cut the cost. but after being there for charlie and frances id always book with them now

We looked in to booking things direct for our holiday last month (just after Ivan and just before Frances! ). It didn't work out that much cheaper doing it this way, and for our own peace of mind, we went with the travel agents should anything of happened.

In addition to this we booked it through a friend who works for a travel agent (Cheap Flights) who chose the best option available to us for the flights, hotel, car hire, etc... This meant we weren't doing a "package" holiday as such because it wasn't a specific package we chose from Thomson for example. We had the flights with Thomas Cook, the hotel was something the agency could book direct, she could also look for the cheapest car hire option (the obligatory Sebring in our case) and not go with Alamo deal purely because they have a back hander system going with Thomas Cook (again for example).

Also, try asking on here if anybody has one of their properties free over the period you are out there as they might do you a deal and that way you can just look for the cheap flights/car hire.

Travelcity is who I got the quote off. We went with Travelcity this year and thought the plane reminded us of that one in Final Destination it was very dirty and really didn't fill you with much confidence.

For life of me I can't understand why the kids flights are £40 more expensive.
