I'm looking for a camera to use in/out doors, mainly for taking pic's of cars. Pic's will only be viewed on Pc. From what I've found out so far I think I'm after 3.1mp resolution, 3x optical zoom, macro, flash, maybe some manual overide on shutter/aperture etc. Image quality is important. Budget £100-200
You can't beat owners reviews, so what does everyone recommend?

 

Cars? As in MOVING cars?

If so, you need something with as little shutter lag as possible, which all but rules out MOST compacts.

I'd suggest a look on Pricerunner, (www.pricerunner.com) then go into reviews on the ones that interest you. There are some professional reviews that actually mention shutter lag.

It's what stopped me buying thye Canon Proshot I wanted, and the slow start-up put me off the Eos300D.
