Well as a joke it isn't funny, if it's real it seems a bit odd

 

I could think of a few letterboxes I'd like to put that letter through!

A client of ours (well-known building society) was marketing a new high-interest rate savings account aimed at their most wealthy account holders. They were sending a letter out to over 3,000 people across the UK and the letter was stored on a server in their office where anybody could access it. As a joke during the initial draft of the letter, a member of staff changed it to read "Dear Rich *******", nobody checked the mail-merge and it was sent out like that! Needless to say somebody got fired for it and the building society had to do some damn good PR.

Nothing that setting fire to the house, their cars and them won't fix though!!!
