Question Want a telescope - What should I get?

Want to be able to do some stargazing. I guess I've got about £200-500 to spend.

It's essential that I can connect my camera somehow. It's a Sony F717 and it's got a standard 58mm screw connector.

any msg. boards?

Saw a good one for beginners on the Gadget Show a while back. You just show it the Pole Star and then it will automatically find any star by entering a number in a keypad, so ideal for beginners methinks. Not sure about the camera mount though

Try PM'ing "Iain Young" on here (i think that's his username), as i recall he's a bit of a telescope guru.
