Life Insurance : Some help please
Im looking for some more life insurance cover, Dont know why, just have this feeling.
Has anyone take some out lately ?
Im looking for £500k for say a 10yrs period
Whats the cheapest option, but one that will pay out if 'It Happends'

they should all be pretty much the same. try tesco online quote.
i am 25 and i recently got quote by several companies including tesco and egg circa £20 a month for 1/4million extra joint life cover (me and gf) over 25 years.
thisismoney.com should also have some sample quotes for u, tho its easy enough to pick a few of the bigger companies and get quotes yourself online.

You're looking for term assurance (unless it's got a newer and fancier name). That's the cheapest way to do what you want.
For a fixed monthly payment, it will pay out £500K if you snuff it in the 10 years. 10 years and 1 day and it pays out nothing. Also, there is no savings element to it so you don't get a "no claims bonus" if you're alive after 10 years.
Monthly cost depends on your age and whether or not you smoke.
Tesco, AA and Virgin websites are good places to start to get an idea of the cost.

Dont buy the first and cheapest one that you see!!
Get some professional independent advice, as Term assurance may not be what is best for yoru own circumstances.
Look at www.unbiased.co.uk and find an adviser close to where to you live, so that you get what is right for you.
