Cool Help me gamble £10

Ok guys, we have this thing at the work where we each pay £1 a week a take a turn to gamble the collected £1s each week. I've got £10 to blow but I really don't know how. I've been doing pretty poor so far so I'd appreciate some tips. I'd like to place a bet(s) that has at least a reasonable chance of coming in but also a reasonable chance of a decent return for our work 'pot'

That rules out 100-1 shots but also means that betting £10 on a horse at 5/4 is pretty pointless. Any suggestions Also, since I'm lazy I'd like a bet that I can place online at Willyhill. Maybe a cheeky football accumulator or something?

Hmm......£10 into www.binarybet.com would give you lots of 10-1 type chances of either financial/sporting/entertainment events. At least it's interesting for everyone to follow once the bet is placed.

ie, like the Scotland game tonight.....

Oh, and hey, they give you £25 cash after you've laid your first bet....you'd be 250% up before you start

Actually, you have to gamble £25 to get your free £25, but mention this to the guys at work, and suggest 2.5 weeks worth of money goes in for a no-loss bet.....

Can't say fairer than that.

That sounds pretty reasonable. Plenty to gain, nothing to lose I might suggest it

£10 on Arsenal to score 4

£10 on BORO to win 3-0

£10 on Newcastle to lose, again!

Should be a safe bet on any of those!

Saxo Boy,

Give me an valid email address, I will then refer you to betfair. We will both get £15 once you have had a few bets. And I will get you a few decent wins.

£50,000 profit for me so far this year and I started with £5000 in Jan.

Now what could I do with your tenner. LOL!!!!!

First tip:

Royal Millenium: Newmarket 14:50 Friday.

See if you can get 9/2 at the bookies first thing in the morning.

Then you can either let the bet run or trade the bet before or even during the race on the exchanges.

£50,000! Do you trade the gee gees?

£10 on Kelly Holmes on betfair wins you a massive 80p minus commision plus your £10 stake back and you have to wait until december I think it is!

[QUOTE=Scooby owner one day]£50,000! Do you trade the gee gees?

Yes, sure do.

Hard work though, very hard work.

But if you can get on a higher odds than sp most of the times and allowing the option of trading out if you want to, then profits are assured. 20% profit on turnover so far. I will let you work out the turnover required to make this sort of money!!!

OK if I have the time I may pop into the local bookies and have a couple of notes on it.
However if it loses I will haunt your posts forever

Best price was 4/1 at the bookies.
They have now all cut it to 3/1.

I am in a good position to trade the bet if I want as the exchanges are now as low as 10/3.

£500 on at 4/1, lay off at 10/3.

If the horse loses I get my money back.
If it wins, I make £300 profit. Or I can guarantee £70 win or lose if I lay a little more than my stake.

A decision I will make nearer the time.

Easy peasy.

Who are what are you playing off against each other to get favourable odds such that you have the loss covered but and edge on a win?

Both the bookies and betfair had this horse at 4/1 this morning, betfair slightly higher. SP was 7/2 so there was a nice margin to cover most of my stake by laying on betfair later in the morning.

A nice win indeed!!!
