Heads up for dell laptop owners - fire hazard recall
Hi peeps,
Just a heads up to some of you peeps that may have any of the following laptops that you need to check your adapter, as it may be a fire hazard. Dell are advance shipping replacements if you are affected.
The models affected are:
Latitude CP, CPi, CPiA, CPtC, CPiR, CPxH, CPtV, CS, CSx, CPxJ, CPtS, C500, C510, C600, C610, C800, C805, C810, V700, C-Dock, C-Port
*
Inspiron 2500, 2600, 3700, 3800, 4000, 4100, 4150, 5000, 5000E, 7500, 7550, 8000, 8100, Advanced Port Replicator, Docking Station
*
Precision M40
IF you need to check your dell, the site is: http://www.delladapterprogram.com/
Note, the affected batch is date dependant across several revisions in the last 4 years.

Phew! Cheers for the warning. My father also has a laptop made in that range so I will mail him the link.
