I don't get it, PVC high heeled boots are sexy, strappy sandals can be sexy but whats the point in porno shoes ?

Well yeah, they definitely are a bit (well, a LOT actually) lap-dancerish, but if that's the look you're going for then they certainly work well. Additionally, many girls who are adopting a dominating role like the extra height that they give. And thirdly, the heel fetishists for whom heel height is all-important, no matter how it's achieved. Horses for courses really.

Only ever seen those platforms worn 'in public' once, oddly enough at a petrol station mid day!

That's a completely different market altogether. The mistake they made in both instances was photographing Liz and Nigella *standing up*. That isn't the point of them at all!! They could at least have consulted me first!!

Like alot of women's shoes, ultra-high heels and those really daft pointy ones that are around at the moment, they force the woman's foot into the pointy end, and strestch the tendons in the sole of the foot.
The payoff comes when the woman is in her 40's and has VERY ugly painfull feet, with squashed up toes and hard skin everywhere, and can't walk far in anything flat.

I can't see the original pic, but the other shoes look good.
I would get myself some if the risk of a broken ankle was lower.....lol
Sexy shoes are so impractical and you can only wear them for about 5 mins, what a shame.

Alcazar- there's a lot of mixed research on that - you've stated the popular belief, but in reality, it isn't as clear cut as that, and in fact may be opposite (ie actually beneficial) for the majority of women...
