I've got a company car, and the tax disc is out of date. Now, the reason for this is that the lease company sent it to my old address because HR han't updated them (over a year ago!). A duplicate is in the post.

What I wanted to check is whether I can get done for failing to dsplay a current tax disc, even though the car is taxed?

In theory yes you can get done for not displaying it even if u had 1..... although depends on how nice the copper is etc

I had the very same thing in a pool car but the company had forgot about the tax. It was a year out of date and yes you guessed it i got stopped. I got escorted back to my work and left the keys with security and got a hire car all paid for by the company.

It doesnt matter if it is taxed, the offence is failure to display it.
