Question spam or not?

Had my Accord Type-R up for sale for 5 days now, just had this appear in my inbox:

Goodday,

I will like to purchase the above Car which you have for sell over the internet,i saw it during my search and i will like to get it for my daugther who is getting married soon as her gift.I need to no the working condition of the car, the final price which you want to sell the car.

what will be the method of payment, but i will like you to know that the easiest way for me now is by a bank draft.please get back to me if you have accept my enquire so that we can proceed.hope to here form you soon.

first...is it spam......how are you old enough to use a pc but not old enough to know the answer to that?


second.....i had the same one from Rev Terry and Rev George......you cant wind these ppl up as they send out thousnads, soon as they think you are on to them they give up.

and whats the best case? you wind them up for a bit.......and achive what? just relax and get on with your day!

Well, it might be genuine. You've nothing to lose by replying stating condition of car etc. Ask him how far away he is in case he wants a viewing. I don't know many people that would buy a car without looking at the thing first. He wants to pay by Bank draft rather than the usual western union, paypal etc. Which bank. If foreign then walk away. Says he's a Rev. No harm in asking which parish etc.

No point disregarding what could be a genuine buyer. I think his next communication will give away whether he is or not. Bascially, just keep your wits about you. However, my hunch is that it is spam but no harm stringing them along
