Well Jerome - judging by the comments on the other thread (some posted by you) I'm not surprised it was deleted. It has bugger all to do with being 'pro-Blair' (please, on this site?), but many of the comments were offensive and insulting. If Lynne hadn't deleted it first I would have. Chris

I can see it now (after the doctors find nothing):
Tony: "look... chaps... at the time I admitted myself to hospital I genuinely believed that I had an irregular heart beat and the reports from our intelligence confirm that it could cause mass destruction to my heart within 45 mins!"

I remember once when politicians used to be quite truthful. They did the job for the sake of genuinely improving the country in all aspects.
It started to go downhill after Wilson became PM, he was a really slimy individual but strangely he was actually admired by many for his two faced actions. That gave the lead for that sort of behaviour generally. He had to resign in a bit of a hurry for reasons which were not publicised. He also got an injunction against an article which was a bit too close to the truth apparently.
It comes to something though when we have a government which employs a professional liar to maintain their existence and even makes him a civil servant so that the taxpayer has to pay his salary. They seem to be doing well at keeping it going now he has gone though, for the moment.

If I could be bothered, I'm pretty sure I could find many other threads with far more "offensive and insulting" content than my thread. As I asked in the deleted thread, do I have to explain emoticons? I had just posted stating how one earth did people take my comment as wishing him dead, when it was deleted.
The fact that it was Lynne didn't even need pointing out.

My heart used to 'flutter' so I went to the quaks and they asked what my caffine was. '5 - 8 coffees a day, coke with my tea, vodka/ red bulls/ buckfast when drinking!'
I Cut out all of that crap and my ticker is ticking like a Rolls Royce now. Moral of the story: Caffine fu8ks you up! I wonder how many cups the big man drinks a day?

The troll pslewis got fairly personal about me, as did trails (paedo comment no less), but that was also apparently OK.
Anyway, as with all mod decisions, bleating about it will not change anything. I'll just be more careful when I next criticise Blair. Case closed.

Well I suffer from Heart problems so all I can do is wish Mr Blair well, it's not nice having a heart condition hanging over you.
Just hope this gives him more enthusiasm to improve the NHS.
Cheers
