Radio 1 - chav
Who listened to Chris Moyles this morning?
I notice he has discovered the word 'chav' and appears to love it.
He mentioned it so many times this morning that it got boring (and I was only listening for 15 mins).
Is 'chav' about to become a national term?
I had only heard/used it here and liked it being low key.

cant believe hes so far behind the times! try www.chavscum.co.uk for the low down... The flash animation and the first of the two "interviews" are particularly worth looking at...

I think Scott Mills (4pm til 7pm on Radio 1) or his researchers must read scoobynet cos he's been using the word for ages and many things that appear on here crop up on his show soon after. I guess the word chav has just filtered down to Moyles from Mills' use of it.

Thing that makes me laugh is that here (Canada) Burberry is meant to be all upscale. Don't think the sales chappy in Holt Renfrew liked it when I laughed at the burberry stuff, and muttered about gold chains, rings and chavs
