How is it judged? A lot of places I've been are far worse than Bath or Windsor.... Is it based on crime, wealth (or lack of), employment, lack of entertainment? I can think of a lot "crapper" places than some of these!

Live near Windsor and I'd hardly call it cr@p. Was only walking down bythe river yesterday, where it was bustling with happy people. Strolled through the French Market they had on in Eton, over the bridge.

Would like to know the definition of cr@p too please ?

WTF is wrong with Edinburgh?

And why isn't Newcastle listed?

Perhaps it's based on statistics souced from the amount of locals moaning, I'm not saying Scotsmen moan alot...but the Scottish forum may suggest otherwise

Would have Hull way down list and have York near top......even police vans go round in fours there.....no go zone at weekends.

Whats wrong with Windsor and Nottingham. Agree with Hull being in there but should be higher IMHO

A load of b*llocks if ever i saw it!

Nottingham isnt that bad at all, its just full of students and, remarkably for a city centre, it isnt full of Chavs spitting through their teeth. Just stay out of the Charver areas and its all pretty nice really.

But as much as it pains me to say it Middlesbrough (my beloved hometown) is probably worthy of a place.

I take it that the ommision of Sunderland from the list is an oversight?
