They're building a new LIM (Linear Induction motor - basically electro-magnetic propulsion) launched roller coaster that will do 0-60mph in under 3 seconds out of the platform/station where you get in so it doenst need a lift hill or anything. They can then add further LIM sections anywhere they want on the track to boost speed

I've been on one of these bad boys in Vegas (speed the ride) and they're fookin incredible
