Default URGENT. Definition of kidnap.

OK long story short. My g/f was forced into a car by her employer and driven off site for a disciplinary hearing. She had no wish to attend but was physically manhandled into the car. This is illegal I take it and how do we go about kicking some **** on this one.

she has just rung me in tears and told me that she was forced into the car to attend even though she handed her notice in last week and wanted no more to do with them ?

Im so angry im tempted to go round there and really cause some ABH.

Clearly, she should contact the police as soon as possible.

Kidnap may or may not be made out, but if she really was man-handled into the car, at the very least someone has committed common assault.

Report it first, ask what to do later.

she should have kicked him in the *****

seriously though the best thing u can do is just ring the police and take it from their, its the only way if u can find out if u can take it any further? any bruise marks on her arm from where he grabbed her? if not go round there and give her a chinese burn and make sure it bruises

Unlawful imprisonment?

Whatever the name of the crime I'd have been pressing charges within minutes!!

If that doesn't work, a balaclava, iron bar and a stanley knife will do!!

Similar thing happened to me when I was working, although I wasn`t taken off the premises..........luckily I was in USDAW, all sorted with an apology from the big boss. Then I got pregnant and made redundant but they had a hefty payout as I was pregnant.

Report it straight away.........

Have you spoken to the Police? I'd report the situation to them first whilst the facts are fresh in everyone's minds.

HAS SHE CONTACTED THE POLICE? At least get a complaint number, even if they're too busy to do anything else for her!

I agree, ring the police. Even if you try a civil action later it will really harm your case if you never even reported the offence!

Have you rung the police yet? Why can't you leave work - this is an emergency isn't it? Is your G/F still at work now? Shouldn't she have gone home to get away from whoever has just assaulted her?
