Lee

Looks like the B2, I'm currently trying to decide between the B2 & B2 Solo with integral antenna.

I'm going for the B2 not the solo as i want to tuck the unit out of sight and with the solo unit it has to be on or very close to the dash.

Can the B2 be easily removed just like the solo?

The only difference is that the Solo has an integral antenna in the cradle.

Chris
I do like the idea of the DIN bracket - for which I'd need the regular B2. Then I'd have to find somewhere to buy the antenna...

In my experience Road angel strikes a good balance of costs, and very reliable to my knowledge we have never had one back (last year we sold well over 200). Im currently testing a snooper S4 neo on loan from my friendly snooper rep, seems okay alerts with plenty of time and tells you what type of camera your approaching. Not used the B2 but i hear its very good however there are rumours of 20% being returned faulty.

I got the b2 and it works 100% - you can detach the head unit and hide it away

I've got an iPAQ and the Tomtom bluetooth GPS kit. It's awesome, sat nav and GPS camera locator, with all the functionality of an iPAQ. Works a treat I've got that combined with a Bel Euro 550 radar and laser detector.

No subscription fees either

Talking

Had the classic road angel and now have the b2

rate the b2 over the road angel 100%

as to faults - yes the b2 has gone back to repair faulty keys --- the road angel also went back to repair non pickup .... so equal there in my eyes.

The b2 in more informative and has more thought applied to it

Dave.

Well I'm bound to be biased!
When we first started selling speed camera detectors the origin b2 was the best on the market. With the launch of the new road angel the gap has been closed but in my opinion, the b2 just edges it slightly due to its ease of use and the way it can be customized by the user for how and where it alerts you.

Like anything the b2 can go faulty but it is covered by a 2 year warranty.

Nick, I've got some pictures for you of the SOLO but I would say putting it on the DIN bracket looks awful, I know it was my suggestion but it should be ignored!!
