Model making - paints
Hello !!
I used to make a load of the static plastic Tamiya models when i was younger. Now i am moving house, i will have my very own boys room with Xbox, TV, PC, decks and all my stuff in so i was thinking about making some more.
Thing is, painting has moved on since the days of Humbrol enamels. Now there are acrylic paints and also airbrushes for me to think about !!!
Anyone got any advice about which sorts of paint to use ? I guess the enamels are fine for most parts, but should I use acrylics on the body work where i need a better finish ? Or should i invest in a reasonably cheap compressor and airbrush ? Have found some good sites on the interweb but am not sure what to buy !!!
Can anyone help ?
Dave
