The reason I ask is because the description says 'elephant bone'....is that another way of saying ivory?
Would customs confiscate it as soon as it arrives?

Ivory specifically refers to the tusks - but frankly, the elephant would have been a lot better off without any part of itself being carved into a sword and sold on eBay. So, even if you don't agree that it's in rather poor taste, there's a risk of confiscation as you suggest - plus the seller has very poor feedback and has chosen to make his feedback comments private, so you can bet there are some pretty unhappy customers out there.

you'll be ok importing, it looks like its made of plastic . Bloody awful ornament though, I'd rather have a freshly laid dog egg on the mantlepice, but as they say, there's no accounting for taste
