extending sky cable?

extending sky cable?
I want to have sky in another room, and was thinking of either that TV link thingy, or just another box.
Can I split/extend the current cable to the other room, and if so will it allow me to watch two different programs, or do I need a new LNB?
I don't want a mirror sub, probably wait for freesat (can't get freeview in my area), just need to get the cable laid before I redecorate next month.

Think you will find Sky are letting you have a second box for a reasonably low price and will install it as well. Think you can either have the freebies or pay for a second subscription.
