paris tomorrow
off to paris tomorrow for a long weekend with my girlfriend.
havent been to paris in years, does anyone have any recomendations of places to go and see? At some point I will be heading to the louvre and the musee d orsee (spelling ) notre damme and the eiffel tower. we are staying on the champs eleysee (in a hotel, not kipping on the street) so we are pretty central.
shes looking for culture and romance etc, im looking for a few days away from work and some decent food and drink.
suggestions please........

Galeries Lafayette and Au Printemps. One of them is a great building (cultural bit) and then she can go shopping
Should be able to get to Sacre Coeur, mooch about on a boat on the Seine
You're in a good area for being central though. We're staying around there too in 2 weeks

http://www.cnac-gp.fr/Pompidou/Accue...enDocument&L=2 the pompidou centre is an amazing building worth a visit, also check out a dinner dance on a Bateaux Mouches, a bit over priced and a little cheezy but ladies sometimes like that sort of thing!
Don't forget the sewer tour as well! http://savvytraveler.publicradio.org...1/sewers.shtml very romantic!! NOT
Have a good time!
