Hi,

I've got one of those compact USB to mains AC adapters for charging my PDA. Now, what I was assuming was that if I buy a USB charge cable suitable for my Nokia 6230 it would also work with this plug???? (picture illustrates the three pin plug I've got).

The only thing that concerns me when I compare the values of the Nokia standard charger Vs the USB adapter is the outputs:

Nokia : 5.7V 800Ma

Aftermarket A/C adapter : 12V 400Ma



Are there any electrically minded people out there that can tell me if the AC adapter is going to be compatible or is it going to damage my phone or doesn't it matter?
