Thumbs up Embrace: Gravity

new singles ace, saw them live back in 1997 when they had a 1 single deal with Fierce Panda. Always loved to hate them but im liking this.

i loved the first EP (on Creation?) - "fireworks". That's a great little record. bought the next 2 EPs which were ok, but pretty much lost interest in them after that.

Hut; so it is.

just checked - i've got

Fireworks
One Big Family
Come Back to What You Know

EPs all in a little row.

Might put one of 'em on now. Although Fireworks is a bit of a blaster, and the missus'll go psycho if i wake up the baby.

Great band and apparently Gravity was written by Chris Martin, even though it sounds very Embrace-y

I saw them a few times too, when they first came on the scene.
They became a little bit `samey`, went off `em.
Not struck by their latest effort.

Good lads though - use to live down the road from me when I was a little `en.

Seein them soon2.

Hope they don't end up becomin to popular with the Chris Martin association, think it'll kinda spoil it if they become a band who gets radio airplay every 5mins.

Saw them back in 2001, brilliant!

Looking forward for album (sept 12/13th)
